carefully before applying.

Step 1
Visit the main forum and
click on the register tab. The main forum can be
accessed via the "forensic forum" button on the menu to the left
of this page.

The first field to complete is
your user ID. This will be the keyword you use to
access the forum. This is case sensitive.

The next field to complete is
your display name. The forum rules dictate this must
be you proper name. If anything other than a proper
name is placed in this field, the application will be
rejected.

The email address field is
extremely important. The forum is only open to
practitioners within the field. You must enter a valid
agency/force/company email address. This is for
vetting purposes only. You will not receive any junk
email from us, it is to verify your identity and to show you
are a forensic practitioner. Please do not use
Hotmail/GMail/Yahoo/AOL or other disposable/personal addresses. They
will only be rejected. There is also an option to
allow you to hide your email address from other forum
members.
If you are a University
student on a course for Computer / Digital Forensics, please
use an official University email address and provide details
of your course and supervisor.

This field is to ensure that
you are human and not a computer. Please try and
interpret the characters and type them into the box
provided.

This field is extremely
important and will also assist with vetting. Please
give reasons for wanting access. You must include
details of the law enforcement agency, company or other body
you work for. Please include a URL to your agency web
site.
If you wish to access the
support forum, you must include your Licence or Dongle ID.
This can be found by selecting the Help >> About menu.
Please ensure you read the
registration agreement. If you agree, please then
press the register button at the bottom of the page.
If you know another forum user, then this will also assist
with vetting.

Step 2
Once registered, you will
receive an email asking you to validate your email address.
You have 72 hours from when you registered to click on the
link which will validate your address. If you do not
do this within 72 hours, the application will be
automatically removed and you will need to complete the
whole process from step 1.
Once you have validated your
